Get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting vibrant country of Portugal. This diverse country full of history, culture, and stunning landscapes. From the bustling streets of Lisbon to the sandy beaches of the Algarve, there's something to suit every taste and interest. In this trip we will be focusing on Lisbon and the Algarve region. We have thoughtfully crafted an itinerary designed to offer the best of both worlds: structured group experiences and plenty of free time for personal exploration.
The heart of our Girls Group Trip to Portugal is a balance between structured activities and the freedom to venture out on your own. We've carefully planned our itinerary to ensure you have ample time to create your own unique experiences. During your free time you are welcome to join the optional group activities or explore on your own, we will provide plenty of recommendations for you.
We will start the trip off with a welcome dinner at a beautiful Lisbon restaurant to meet your fellow travelers. During the four days in Lisbon we will take a walking city tour, a day trip to Sintra, and spend time in the Belem district. We will end our time in Lisbon with a farewell to Lisbon dinner before making our way to the Algarve. The Algarve will be all about relaxation, beaches, and enjoying the beginning of the Europe summer season. The accommodations will be at a 4 or 5 star hotel with a pool so everyone can relax. We will also be doing a day trip to Lagos and taking a boat ride out onto the water to enjoy the amazing cliffs and landscape. We will end our trip with a farewell dinner and drinks.

day 1
After arriving in Lisbon you will make your way to the hotel where our trip host will be there to meet you and get you checked in! If you arrive early in the day we will connect you with any other travelers and give you some recommendations on how to spend your first day!
In the evening we will grab drinks at a nearby rooftop and have our official welcome dinner at a local restaurant so you can meet your fellow travelers and start tasting all of the typical Portuguese cuisines.
Day 2 Explore Lisbon
EXPLORE LISBON
On our first full day in Lisbon, we’ll head out to see the city. Known as the “city of seven hills,” Lisbon is best explored by Tuk Tuk, allowing us to navigate the charming streets with ease. Along the way, we’ll make stops at historic sites and scenic viewpoints while learning about Lisbon’s rich history and culture.
After the Tuk Tuk tour, the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you like—grab drinks at a rooftop bar, indulge in some shopping, or continue exploring Lisbon’s historic corners. We will end our day with an optional group dinner at the lively Time Out Market.

Day 3 Sintra Day Trip
SINTRA DAY TRIP
Day 3 kicks off with an early morning departure to the enchanting town of Sintra. We'll explore the area in open-air jeeps, giving us an up-close experience of Sintra’s stunning landscapes and maximizing our time to see as much as possible. We’ll visit many of the key sites, with opportunities to stop, go inside, and explore some of Sintra’s most magical spots.
We'll pause in Sintra’s Old Town, where you can enjoy a meal or browse the charming local shops before we set off again. In the late afternoon, we’ll head back to Lisbon. After freshening up at the hotel, those interested can join the trip host for an optional group dinner.

LISBON FREE DAY
Our final day begins with an early morning photo shoot, giving you the chance to capture beautiful souvenirs to take home. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish! Travelers are free to explore independently or join the trip host for some optional planned activities. The host will also be happy to provide personalized recommendations for anyone looking to venture out on their own.
We’ll wrap up our time in Lisbon with a memorable group dinner at a fantastic local restaurant.

Day 5 Travel to the Algarve
HEAD TO THE ALGARVE
In the morning, we’ll depart Lisbon and head south to the stunning Algarve region in private transportation. The journey will take around three hours, and upon arrival at our hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. You can explore the nearby town and do some shopping, unwind by the pool, or soak up the sun at the beach.
In the evening, we’ll gather for an optional group dinner for anyone who wants to join.

FREE DAY
After a few exciting but busy days exploring Lisbon, our first day in the Algarve is all about relaxation and free time. You can sleep in and recharge or join us for an optional group adventure: kayaking through the stunning Benagil Cave.
Once we’re back at the hotel, the day is yours to enjoy however you wish—lounge by the pool, stroll along the scenic cliffside boardwalk, or grab drinks at a nearby cliffside bar.
In the evening, we’ll wrap up with an optional group dinner in town.

Day 7 Lagos Day Trip & Boat Day
LAGOS & BOAT DAY
On Day 7, we’ll make our way to Lagos, a town brimming with historic charm, where cobbled streets are lined with quaint shops and cozy cafes. You’ll have time to stroll along the old city walls, visit the beautiful cathedral, and dive into local culture at fascinating museums and galleries scattered throughout the area. Plus, there are stunning beaches and scenic cliffside walks just outside town, perfect for those looking for some views.
After a few hours soaking in Lagos, we’ll head out onto the water for a coastal boat tour, where we’ll admire the dramatic cliffs and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea. Once back at the hotel we will do a casual optional group dinner.

Day 8 Algarve Hike & Beach
OPTIONAL ALGARVE HIKE & BEACH DAY
For those who love coastal hikes, join us for a refreshing morning trek along the Algarve's scenic cliffs. This three-hour hike includes some inclines but rewards us with breathtaking views of the coastline. We’ll end at one of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches, where we can relax and unwind for a few hours before heading back to the hotel.
We’ll wrap up our time in Portugal with a memorable group dinner overlooking stunning views, celebrating an amazing group trip and new friends.

We will depart the hotel early in the morning and head back to Lisbon, dropping everyone off at the airport around 10am.
Interested in extending your trip? Although we don't have an organized trip extension there are two great options, either spend another day or two in the Algarve or head to Porto which is an easy train ride away! We are happy to provide recommendations.

How do meals work?
All activities included in the itinerary are included in the price. There will be plenty of free time on this trip, but we will have optional group activities you can join for an additional cost. You can also use your free time to explore at your leisure and we will provide recommendations for those who want to explore independently.
Will there be free time during the trip?
Yes! Most people joining this trip will be strangers. We will coordinate a meetup before the trip for all confirmed travelers to come and meet your travel host as well as other travelers. If you are looking for a shared room, we will match you up with another girl for the trip.
I don't have anyone to go with is that ok?
We price all of our trips for both single and double occupancy. We do this to make sure travelers are as comfortable as possible, but if you want to have your own room during the trip it does increase the price. If you are interested in rooming with another traveler, please express that in our pre-registration form. We will help coordinate with other girls who express interest in sharing a room. We will be staying in 3-5 star hotels during our trip. All will be centrally located and highly rated by prior guests. Hotels in Europe do tend to default to "European Twins", which means they push two twin beds next to each other. For those sharing, we will always recommend you do a little rearranging on day 1 to make sure both you and your roommate are comfortable.
What are the accomodations?
This trip is for open-minded women who are looking to explore a new destinations and make real connections with their fellow travelers. We only ask that our travelers be kind, open and respectful during our trip.
All travelers should be comfortable walking. Part of the fun of a trip to Europe is wandering down streets to shop or stop into a local cafe. We will be walking 5-10 miles most days. Lisbon is knows as the city of seven hills so be prepared to walk up and down inclines. If you are uncomfortable walking that much, you are welcome to take taxis to meet the group at your own cost.

Meals outlined above in the "What's Included" section are included in the price. All other meals will be at your own expense. We will have an optional group dinner each evening on the trip you can join or head out on your own. We will work to accommodate dietary restrictions as much as possible throughout our trip.
What flight should I book for this trip?
The tip will start and end in Lisbon (LIS). If you are not looking to extend your trip, we recommend booking an arrival flight that lands in Lisbon by 4 PM to ensure you have time to get through customs and to the hotel in plenty of time for our welcome dinner. Our hotel is around 20-30 minutes from the airport. For your departure flight, we will be driving back from the Algarve in the morning and recommend booking a flight that departs 12PM or later.
Can I extend my trip?
While we are not offering an official extension for this trip, a great option do do independently is adding Porto. This city is located in the northern part of the country and is known for it's wine and the beautiful Douro Valley. We would be happy to connect you with fellow travelers that are looking to add a few days and provide recommendations.
