The inspiration for Girls Who Love Travel began during a small group trip that had been years in the making. Though the group was diverse in age and backgrounds, all five women shared one common sentiment: they were thrilled that the trip had finally come together, as it can be hard to find travel companions who are just as eager to explore. Upon returning home, our founder began researching group travel options for women. She noticed a gap—most were either luxury-focused or large-scale travel groups, but nothing local that truly encouraged deep, lasting connections among women. And so, Girls Who Love Travel was born. We currently have three vibrant local communities and are excited to keep expanding as more women join in!

Every trip offers a unique itinerary for every women. Whether you love hiking, enjoy relaxing wine tastings or exploring European towns, we offer a mix of trips to meet each travelers needs. You just need to sign up for the trip and book your flight. We do all the heavy lifting!

What truly sets our group trips apart is our focus on fostering lasting relationships that extend beyond the journey. While it’s incredible to connect with women from around the globe, staying in touch can be challenging. That’s why we’re dedicated to creating local city and state communities across the United States—so when the adventure ends, you’ll have new friends nearby to grab dinner with and share real-life moments. Many of our trips will have a "sponsoring community," which simply means that the trip will be offered first to subscribers in that local area before opening to our national community. But don’t worry—if you’re outside one of our current local communities, you can still join the nearest one and/or the national community! You’ll meet amazing women regardless, though you might have to travel a bit farther to reconnect with them once you’re home.
