This trip is made for moms, daughters, aunts, solo travelers, and everyone in between. Whether you're coming as a pair or just love the idea of traveling with a dynamic group of women of all ages, you're welcome here. We’ve designed this itinerary with the perfect mix of group fun and free time—so you can soak it all in without feeling overbooked.

We’ll kick things off in Florence with three nights of Renaissance beauty, a guided city tour, meandering cobblestone streets, and a dreamy day trip to the Tuscan countryside filled with wine tastings and charming village vibes. From there, we’ll head to Lake Garda for two nights of lakeside magic—complete with a cooking class, boat ride, and plenty of time to explore the postcard-perfect towns. Finally, we’ll wrap up in Venice, where you’ll get to experience its winding canals, take a city tour, and yes, float through the water on a gondola.

There’s plenty of space built in to do your own thing (or nothing at all), but we’ll always have suggestions on hand and optional add-ons if you're in the mood for more. Whether you're here to bond, unwind, adventure—or all of the above—you’re in for something unforgettable.

UNIQUE CONSIDERATIONS FOR ITALY

You are comfortable walking 10,000+ steps a day. When we are in Florence & Venice, the best way to get around is by walking. Both cities will have cobblestone walkways and plenty of stairs.

We will be spending almost one full day exploring Lake Garda towns by boat, so for those that get motion sick, ensure you pack meds or other tools to make your time on the water enjoyable.

Hi! I’m Meghan, founder of Girls Who Love Travel and your host for this unforgettable Italy adventure. My love for travel started when I backpacked through Europe in college, and I’ve been chasing hidden gems and new experiences ever since. These days, my perfect travel combo includes a good boat ride, a Hugo Spritz in hand, and just the right mix of planned activities and time to wander. I especially love the moments in our trips when travelers come back from their free time excited about the little café they found or the amazing local dish they tried. That’s where the real magic happens.

I created this trip because I wanted to offer something special for all ages in our community—and if I’m being honest, I also wanted a fun trip I could bring my mom on! Traveling with your mom, daughter, aunt, or another special woman in your life can be incredibly meaningful… and, let’s be real, sometimes a little stressful. That’s why I love the group dynamic we’ve created. You’ll have time to make memories with your travel partner, but also plenty of space to connect with other amazing women and share the experience together. I can't wait to explore Italy with you!
