Girls Who Love Travel Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Girls Who Love Travel LLC serves as the coordinator for group trips, facilitating memorable experiences for travelers. However, it is essential to understand the following terms and conditions regarding your participation in our trips:

Supplier Responsibilities: Girls Who Love Travel LLC does not accept responsibility for the actions or inactions of our trip suppliers or their failure to provide services as expected or adhere to their schedules. We are not liable for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any supplier. Furthermore, Girls Who Love Travel LLC assumes no liability for personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting from causes beyond our control.

Release of Claims: Travelers hereby release Girls Who Love Travel LLC from any and all claims arising from problems mentioned in the preceding paragraph.

Health and Well-being: Travel inherently carries risks, including but not limited to illness such as motion or seasickness, food-related health issues, and exposure to unfamiliar environments. While Girls Who Love Travel LLC will assist travelers in obtaining proper medical treatment, we are not responsible for any illnesses and associated medical bills or missed itinerary plans. Travelers release Girls Who Love Travel LLC from all claims arising from any illness contracted during a Girls Who Love Travel LLC trip.

Lack of Special Knowledge: Girls Who Love Travel LLC has no specialized knowledge regarding the financial conditions of suppliers, unsafe conditions, health or weather hazards, or extreme climates at travel destinations. Each traveler's risk tolerance varies, and as such, Girls Who Love Travel LLC cannot advise travelers on whether or not to travel to specific locations at particular times. We will provide objective third-party travel information to assist travelers in making informed decisions. Travelers are encouraged to consult the the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Girls Who Love Travel LLC recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877)FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel for up-to-date information.

Responsibility for Entry Requirements: Travelers are fully responsible for verifying passport, visa, vaccination, and other entry requirements for their destinations. Travelers must also assess conditions related to health, safety, security, political stability, and civil unrest at these locations. In doing so, travelers release Girls Who Love Travel LLC from all claims arising from any issues mentioned in this paragraph.

Exclusive Jurisdiction: Travelers agree that the courts of Chicago, Illinois, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claims brought by either traveler or Girls Who Love Travel LLC, and travelers hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

Cancellation Policy

By participating in a Girls Who Love Travel trip, you acknowledge and agree to the following booking and cancellation terms. All bookings are made with Meghan McGuire, the sole proprietor and owner of all advertised itineraries under the names "Girls Who Love Travel, LLC”, and "Chicago Girls Who Love Travel." Your acceptance of these terms, payment of a deposit, or agreement to these terms indicates your consent to all provisions in this agreement on behalf of yourself and all travelers associated with your booking.

Booking Process: Bookings may be made through our online registration system. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from us. Until confirmed in writing, no contract exists between you and Girls Who Love Travel.

Cancellation Terms: All cancellations result in the loss of the initial deposit, which is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the trip are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

  • Cancellations made between 45 and 59 days before the trip are eligible for a 30% refund of the total payment (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

  • Cancellations made less than 45 days before the trip will not receive any refund.

If for some reason the trip is cancelled by Girls Who Love Travel for a reason other than severe weather, natural disaster, civil unrest, etc. a full refund will be issued.

Additional Liability Waiver: Participants are required to sign an additional liability waiver.

Acknowledgment of Risks: By registering for a Girls Who Love Travel trip, participants automatically agree to understand and assume the inherent risks associated with travel. These risks include, but are not limited to, acts of God, terrorism, civil unrest, hazards of travel in difficult terrain, weather-related incidents, exposure to disease, accidents, and negligence. Participants acknowledge the risks of international travel, including forces of nature, crime, civil unrest, and personal injury or illness in remote areas without rapid evacuation or adequate medical care.

Emergency Medical Treatment: Participants authorize Girls Who Love Travel and Tour Companies to arrange emergency medical treatment and hospitalization without further consent.

Insurance and Costs: Participants certify they have adequate insurance coverage for injuries or damages. In the absence of insurance, participants agree to bear the costs themselves, including evacuation expenses. Participants are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering unforeseen issues such as tour cancellations due to sever weather, natural disasters, bankruptcies by providers, trip interruptions, lost documents, medical expenses, and emergency transportation.

Schedule Changes: Participants acknowledge the possibility of delays, schedule changes, or cancellations during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances.

By agreeing to these terms, participants ensure a clear understanding of the booking and cancellation policies, potential risks, and the importance of obtaining adequate travel insurance.
